Plymouth is over 40 per cent greenspace, protecting and making best use of this is a key part to the Plymouth Plan. The plan also sets out to reduce the city’s carbon emissions by 50 per cent and increase recycling rates to 50 per cent.
There are a number of exciting major developments including:
Derriford Community Park
Derriford Community Park aims to deliver a high quality multi-functional green space that communities and visitors can access as a way of improving health and an environmental education centre offering learning opportunities.
Plymouth Energy Community
Plymouth Energy Community is run by the community for the community and to give people in Plymouth the power to change how they buy, use and generate energy.
The size of the tree is represented by the size of the ring. The health of the tree is represented by the vibrance of the colour (from dark brown: very unhealthy, through to bright green: very healthy)
The health rating is calculated by semantic analysis of the “TREE_CONDITION” description from the data
e.g: “Hollows where branches have broken off and dead wood on floor around tree.”
