DATA Play 2... the data playing continues
We’re now over half-way through day two of DATA Play 2 and the momentum has carried on from yesterday. We’re once again at Thrive where the venue is on point, tea and coffee are flowing and there were some great talks this morning from the coding club, Plymouth University, i-DAT, ODI Devon and Digital Plymouth – some great things happening in the city.
Our soft play area was well used by the guys from Elixel who were carrying on their coding from yesterday and somebody has bought a Nintendo 64 and a Sega Megadrive… Sonic and Pokemon galore for those who are feeling nostalgic.
Our pizza lunch was a little late because of traffic but the sun came out and it’s great to see evidence of a thriving city centre.
We heard some great ideas yesterday and we’re hearing a lot more today! Don’t forget you have until 5pm Tuesday to get your ideas into us for a chance to win £2,000 to take your project forward and if you think the council has certain data you’d like to get your hands on email @plymccplanning #DATAPlay and we’ll start investigating.
But I need to go now, somebody’s got the lego out and I feel the need to get stuck in…
Happy playing everyone!
